Aventon Ebike Accessories

Aventon makes some of the best-value ebikes on the road, and we have reviewed nearly all of them. These are the accessories we would actually bolt on, chosen because we know what fits.

Our battery bag fits every Aventon we have tested

All Aventon batteries fit our small battery bag, including the Ramblas, Abound (SR and LR), every Aventure, Sinch, Soltera, Level, and Pace. It is waterproof with a flame-resistant liner that passed the FMVSS 302 flame test, which is worth having whenever your battery is riding in a car or sitting out the winter in the garage.

Suspension seatpost: get the right diameter

Our BumpStop gives you 50mm of active travel with adjustable preload, and it is rated to 300 lbs rather than the 220 lbs a lot of posts cap out at. Aventon uses two sizes:

  • 27.2mm – Level 2, Soltera 2 and 2.5
  • 30.9mm – Aventure 2, Pace 3, Abound, Abound LR, Abound SR, Level 3, Sinch 2 and 2.5

Always confirm against the size marked near the base of your current seatpost before ordering.

Check whether your rack is MIK

Some Aventon models ship with a MIK-compatible rear rack. If yours is labeled MIK, our MIK bags and baskets click on and off in seconds with no straps. If it is not, the quick-release Dairyman X adjusts in width to clamp onto almost any rack, Aventon's included.

What we would add first

  • Phone holder – the BiKGrip's lever-lock is what we run on nearly every review bike.
  • Bottle cage – the adjustable ABC Cage fits almost any bottle. On a crowded frame, go with the side-loading Sidewinder.
  • Mirror – Aventons are quick enough that you want to see behind you.
  • Lock, tool kit, and pump – the basics that save a ride.
